The State Technical University

Undoubtedly, the most important contribution to education by President Gabriel Gonzalez Videla was the creation of the State Technical University in 1947. This institution joined the teaching centers that were disseminated all over the country. We have nine stars in our institutional coat of arms that correspond to the matrix schools -from the north, the center and the south of the country- which, united as only one group,  formed our University life.
