Sobre un total de 532 votos válidamente emitidos, el candidato Rafael Labarca obtuvo el 13,5% de los sufragios; Víctor Parada el 10,5%; Ubaldo Zúñiga el 10,3% y Ricardo Santander, el 4,8 %.
Luego del escrutinio, Juan Manuel Zolezzi Cid, quien reasumirá el máximo cargo institucional por el período 2014 - 2018, destacó la realización de “una campaña limpia” y ratificó el compromiso de “llevar a la Universidad del positivo estado actual en que se encuentra, a uno superior”.

Out of 532 valid votes cast in the ballot, candidate Rafael Labarca polled 13.5%; Víctor Parada, 10.5%; Ubaldo Zúñiga, 10.3%, and Ricardo Santander, 4.8%.
After the vote counting, Juan Manuel Zolezzi Cid, who will assume the highest institutional position between 2014 and 2018, highlighted the “fair campaign process” and he confirmed his commitment to “taking the University from its current good status to a higher one.”
